I give him books all the time. We trade them back and forth.

He loves tea and hates when it goes cold because he got too into a book.

Tea is good! A tea pot and a mug would be good, especially if they are enchanted, though I wouldn't make it more than that. You don't want him to feel bad if he didn't get you as much.
